Braking system as one of the important subsystem in metro vehicle,the vehicle has a important role to assure the safety operation.Since the 90 s,urban rail transit industry in China continued rapid development,most of the urban rail vehicle braking system adopts imported braking system,among them,with the British WESTINGHOUSE company,presently for the production of the knorr EP2002 brake system based on frame control applied most widely.In recent years,domestic braking system gradually developed and applied to the individual metro vehicle project,mainly for the China academy of railway sciences and developed by sifang rolling stock research institute in frame control and control system.With domestic braking system gradually applied,will help improve the current urban rail vehicle localization rate,decrease the cost of the vehicle,but the lack of product competitiveness,r&d spending enough lead to inadequate testing equipment and project,etc.,but the most inexperienced main aspects reflected in the use of the product,cause the imperfection of the system performance compared with foreign products.This paper,taking dalian locomotive vehicle co.,LTD.of the urban rail industry key projects that xi 'an metro line no.3 is based on the braking system of vehicle project application,xi 'an metro line no.3 subway vehicle braking system application is knorr EP2002 frame control system of the company,this article will focus on xi 'an metro line 3 of metro vehicle EP2002 system applied by some operation experience through practice and system performance optimization scheme,help deepen the understanding and awareness of the EP2002 brake system,also facilitate domestic reference and analysis of the braking system.This article first introduces the developing course of the braking system,the development stages of braking system are analyzed and described the characteristics of different stages of braking system,then introduces the current domestic metro projects mainly adopts the technical features of the braking system.Then,on the application of the xi 'an metro line 3 vehicles EP2002 brake system has carried on the detailed introduction,including the system composition,function and characteristics.And focuses on the existing EP2002 paper mainly from the functions of traditional mechanical structure,logic control and fault storage and maintenance of several optimization scheme of the system.Finally describes the paper's conclusion summarizes and the significance of performance optimization scheme.
