The erosion of bridge pier is the main cause of bridge damage.Around the bridge pier of flow structure is complex,falling water,on either side of the horseshoe vortex,wake vortex,on both sides of the piers and at the end of the pier near the bed surface after the release of small vortex,the several kinds of vortex system of complex water flow around the bridge pier structure.Nowadays,many experts and scholars both at home and abroad are studying the anti-scour principle of bridge piers,and have obtained rich scientific research results and formed a mature theoretical system.A series of physical model tests have been carried out by predecessors.This paper uses the Flow-3d software to simulate the previous research results,and also shows that Flow-3d can accurately simulate the three-dimensional circumfluence and scour phenomenon of the round end pier.By means of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis,this paper studies the characteristics and changes of the water flow around the round pier.In the model test,the piers are protected by the ring-fender.The main principle of its anti-shock is by changing the flow structure around the piers and reducing the erosion of the pier.After the simulation calculation,it is concluded that the round end pier will significantly reduce the submerged current after installing the washboard.When the washboard is installed in 1/3 of the water depth,the scour effect is most obvious.Along the vertical velocity of flow is the main factor causing the bottom of the pier scour,longitudinal velocity,lateral velocity affect the minimum,after impingement on installation plate can effectively stop the falling water flushing;There is a significant difference between piers and post-pier flow field.The flow field in front of the pier is less affected by the pier than the flow field after the pier,and the rear end vortex and reflux phenomenon are obvious.Through the Flow-3d fluid mechanics software for numerical simulation analysis,draw a rounded shape marching Flow and the change of the Flow field around piers,analysis the different time rounded shape near the bridge pier scouring pit volume change,the velocity vector diagram and the stress nephogram;Study the flow field around piers rounded shape characteristics,and the characteristics of the bridge pier scour,explore the rounded shape the relationship between the flow around piers and scour,in order to rounded shape flow around pier scour study provides theoretical basis and new research way of thinking.
