Bridge disasters’s main reason is that bridge pier scoured by current,so,it is necessary that research the structure and development process.Because of the boundary to traditional safeguard procedures of piers,the research group adopted a new device,ring-wing plate to prevent scour.The main principle is that the plate changed the structure of water by decreasing the down water.The thesis is based on predecessor’s achievement,to research round-ended pier with ring-wing plate.The experiment adopted 3 different kinds of ratios,flow,location pier and 2 different kinds of shape of round-ended plate to do the physical model test.During the experiment,measuring the scour hole of pier and the vertical flow velocity.By processing data,a nalyzed characteristics of hole,Suefer topographic map,vertical flow velocities,vertical turbulence intensity,distribution of reynold stress to research hydraulic characteristic and preventing scour effect of pier.Based on the analysis of the above,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)With the plate,the depth,length,breadth are obviously decreased,the max depth reduction of scour hole is 30%;(2)Choosing the half ring-wing plate and the location at one third of depth is best in preventing scour;(3)Simulating the scour hole of the pier with Surfer;(4)The front of pier vertical flow velocities obviously decreased with 3 different ratios piers;(5)The distribution of vertical turbulence intensity and distribution of reynold stress are almost same,the front and behind of pier the vertical turbulence intensity and distribution of reynold stresse are reduced with ring-wing plate. |
