The frequency of power system is not only a key quality index,but also an important factor which influences the safe and stable operation of power system.It reflects the balance of supply and demand situation of active power,The PFR(Prime Frequency Regulation)function of generators distributed in the grid,is a fast and effective method to maintain the power balance of power system,so,it is the key to prevent faults deterioration.In view of the UHV(Ultra Hig Votage)AC/DC hybrid background,a variety of control problems appear,which are affect the safety and stablity of power grid.Increased and higher technology demand for the PFR function of thermal power generator unit is put forward.This article researches these problems from 3 aspects:system simulation analysis,control strategy research,engineering application.In system simulation analysis respect,analyses the stability measures of generators in Henan Province at different PFR capability when Hami-Zhengzhou UHV DC line blocks,analyses the impact of PFR control ability on the stability of power grid;in the aspect of research and engineering application of the control strategy of PFR,studies on frequency filtering method and the fast discrimination method of large disturbance based on PMU frequency data and wavelet analysis;uses PMU data imaging and analying device to get frequency of power grid,which is used by the new way to control PFR action as the driver signal.Puts forward optimized strategies of the PFR control.After the actual operation in many power plants,results show that after using the PMU data imaging and analyzing device and the optimized control logic,Unit PFR action quality and stability has been significantly improved,the qualified rate of monthlyunit primary frequency increased significantly,reduce the power generating unit evaluation.At the same time,improve the stability of power grid frequency,provide strong support for the UHV hybrid power grid security.After the implementation of large-scale promotion,will obtain a considerable economic and social benefit for power industry.
