Research On The Outdoor Space Environmental Design Of Cold Region Community Based On The Environmental Behavior Science

With the rise and development of international winter movement,environmental problems in winter city are attracting more attention.Atrocious weather in the cold regions has a huge impact on the city,community and residents.Nowadays,outdoor space environment problems of the cold region community need to be solved urgently.In this paper,environmental behavior science is taken as a breakthrough point and the winter city Harbin has been selected as a representative region,so as to survey and analyze the behavior status of residents in the community,deeply understand the needs of residents in the cold region.Combined with relevant theoretical literature and achievements at home and abroad,summary,analysis and research are carried out.On this basis,this paper proposes a targeted design principle for the cold region which takes the resident behavior system as the core,and discusses the effective strategies for outdoor space en vironment design of cold region community with environmental behavior science as the base and resident needs as the orientation.Purpose of this paper is to get the effective and universal conclusions for outdoor space environment design of cold region community,establish a humanized outdoor space environment by improving the physical environment and experience of behavior subsystems with design,so as to meet the residents’ needs for winter activities and stimulate their enthusiasm for outdoor activities in winter.This paper is divided into four parts,which are respectively raising questions,analysis and discussion,further analysis and research for practice.Part one,raise questions.By introducing the background of research direction and combing wit h related research theories,achievements at home and abroad,this paper proposes the necessity and importance of outdoor space environment design for cold region community.Part two,analyze the questions.Concepts of environmental behavior science,winter city and community are clearly defined,relevance between resident behavior and outdoor space environment of cold region community has been discussed,so as to provide solid theoretical support for the next two chapters.Part three,further analysis.Field investigation has been carried out to the communities in Harbin,the representative winter city.Through the residents interview and analysis of existing data,this paper further analyzes the behaviors and needs of residents in cold regions,summarizes the influencing factors of residents’ environmental needs in cold regions and design principles of outdoor space environment,which provides design basis for the follow-up design strategy.Part four,solve the questions.Based on the analysis and research in the first three chapters,this part puts forward detailed design strategies for outdoor space environment of cold region community.On the basis of environmental behavior science and actual resident’s needs,suggestions are put forward from five influencing factors of environmental needs,namely physical environment,physiological subsystem,personality subsystem,social subsystem and cultural subsystem.Scientific and reasonable,humanized and sustainable design strategies for outdoor space environment of cold region community have been formed.Through the systematic research,we hope to put forward feasible design strategies for outdoor space environment of cold region community.According to characteristics of cold region,improvement design have been made from five subsystems of physical environment and environmental behavior,so as to reduce the impact of bad weather and enhance the happiness of residents in the cold region,stimulate their vitality in winter.This paper provides valuable reference fo r improving the environment quality of cold region community and promoting regional upgrading,so as to promote the overall optimization and development of urban environment in cold region.
