Liquid desiccant air conditioning system is a new kind of air conditioning system.When compared with the conventional air conditioning system,liquid desiccant air conditioning system can use low-grade energy and improve energy efficiency.Liquid desiccant dehumidifier can also avoid the secondary pollution of the air by not producing condensate water and absorbing tiny particles such as microbial and dust.Liquid desiccant air conditioning system has great prospect in energy saving and sanitary air conditioning.In this article,based on the other researchers' literature,the cross flow liquid desiccant dehumidification and regeneration numerical model is established.After analyzing other researcher's work of calculating the NTU number,finding out their calculations vary widely under low liquid to gas ratio.In order to figure out the performance of liquid desiccant dehumidifier operating under low liquid to gas ratio,experiment is needed.Experiment of cross flow liquid desiccant dehumidifier using Lithium Chloride is conducted to figure out the dehumidifier and regenerator parameters' influence on outlet air status.Parameters are inlet solution temperature,solution fraction,solution mass flow and the size of packing bed.After successively obtaining the experimental data,an empirical correlation is presented.With the empirical correlation,the outlet air status under different solution inlet status and packing bed size are computed and analyzed.At last,the numerical model of a liquid desiccant air conditioner with both dehumidifier and regenerator is established.Simulations of the air conditioner's performance under different configurations are operated,and the outlet air status are obtained.Then the analyzation of how these configurations influence the outlet air temperature,moisture is given.
