As an efficient and renewable clean energy,hydropower energy plays an important role in the sustainable development of economy and society.With the gradual development of hydropower,large-scale reservoirs have been built and put into use,gradually formed a watershed,inter-basin,inter-region large-scale hydropower station group.In order to make full use of water resources,it is necessary to optimize the operation of reservoir group,therefore,it is of great scientific research and practical application value to study the optimal operation of reservoirs.In this thesis,we launch a series of studies and propose corresponding solution strategy to solve the problem that with the expansion of the size of the reservoir systems,it becomes very difficult to solve the optimal scheduling model.Aiming at the optimal operation problem of large-scale reservoir group.Firstly,the model of long term optimal operation of reservoirs is established,and the method of solving the model is studied,and this thesis makes a research on the algorithm of Dynamic Programming(DP)class which is commonly used.Secondly,the knowledge and experience of reservoir optimizing knowledge of conventional optimal method is analyzed,convert the abstract principles of “high waterlevel operation and reduce surplus water” into a specific form of expression.The energy conversion relation of cascade reservoir system is analyzed from the perspective of energy change,and the optimization criterion of water supply and storage for cascade reservoirs is derived.And then,combined with the actual optimal scheduling model,the knowledge and experience of reservoir optimizing and the optimization criteria can be converted into the optimizing decision which could be used to guide the actual optimization operation,adopted the prevent abandoned waterline and the minimum decision limit line,the decision making process of reservoir operation is obtained from the knowledge and experience of reservoir optimizing.Finally,the advantages of the knowledge and experience of reservoir optimizing of conventional optimal method and the algorithm optimization method are organically combined,an optimal operation for cascaded hydropower stations based on optimizing knowledge experience is proposed.This thesis conducts simulation tests with the classic test case 4-reservoirs problem and 10-reservoirs problem,the result show that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of the solution and guarantee the efficiency of the solution,verifies the high efficiency of the proposed method.In addition to this,an example of Xiang Jiang River in Hunan Province is calculated,the results show that the method presented in this paper can effectively alleviate the curse of dimensionality of the algorithm of dynamic programming class and can improve the optimization result to a certain extent,and further illustrates the practicality and efficiency of the knowledge and experience optimization method.
