The development of ballistic missiles as a crucial strategic power of military confrontation has gained more and more popularity between nations.Due to the domain knowledge of intensity,generally simulation has been deemed as the effective method for evaluating the measure of effectiveness(MOE),demonstrating the operational alternatives as well as promoting the technology of ballistic missiles.Consequently,the effectiveness simulation in ballistic missiles domain depends on the technology of simulation more than ever.On the other hand,it is more challenging for the application of simulation technology to address the problems which exist in the design and implementation of ballistic missiles.Furthermore,it is a complex task for modelers to describe various prototypes of ballistic missiles.In this research,the model frameworks of ballistic missiles are designed through certain related modeling and simulation(M&S)technologies to promote the modeling efficiency and to enhance the simulation quality as well as to reduce the modeling tasks.Additionally,a solution is given to address the computing speed and accuracy of launching parameters with which is confronted in the process of performance simulation and alternatives demonstration.Finally,a case study is presented to illustrate the feasibility of the solution.The content of this research has mainly the following four parts:First of all,describe the related knowledge of ballistic missiles and build the 3-DOF movement model of ballistic missiles.In this part,the models of earth and atmosphere are simplified reasonably based on the specific modeling and simulation requirements.Upon this the 3-DOF movement model is described through analyzing the Kinematics & Dynamics of ballistic missiles.Secondly,designing the composable modeling framework of ballistic missiles.The M&S process in Weapon Effectiveness Systems Simulation(WESS)is depicted and the modeling framework is designed based on WESS.Also,several frameworks of the ballistic missiles domain are designed.Thirdly,the commuting method of launching parameters of ballistic missiles is presented.Based on the Launching Table,Interpolation,and Newton Iteration,an alternative is proposed to address the commuting speed and accuracy of launching parameters of ballistic missiles.Finally,a case study about typical scenario of launching ballistic missiles is illustrated the efficiency and feasibility of the solution that is proposed in this research.
