In recent years,with the rapid development of economy,the number of vehicles available for people to travel has been increasing day by day.High-speed train,with high speed,energy saving,environmental protection,safety and comfort,large passenger capacity and low energy consumption,has become the main mode of transportation.And high speed express is an important reason for high-speed train to become the main force of transportation.At the same time,with the increase of speed,people pay more and more attention to the safety of high-speed train,and put forward higher requirements for braking system.At present,researchers in the process of braking system research find that the brake device of high-speed train wears due to friction and heat,which leads to the reduction of the service life.In order to improve the service life of the brake device,the optimization research can be carried out from the aspects of material and structure layout of brake pads.In this paper,taking the brake pads in the braking system of high-speed train as the research object,the structure layout optimization designs of brake pads with different shapes(circular,hexagonal column,special-shaped)are carried out.The feasibility of structure layout is verified by temperature field analysis and stress field analysis.Firstly,the structure factor can represent the relationship between the friction heat and structure layout of brake pads,and the temperature on the brake disc can also be characterized by the structure factor.So referring to the concept of structure factor,the structure factors of circular brake pads,hexagonal column brake pads and special-shaped brake pads are optimized,and the optimal layouts of friction pads with different shapes are obtained based on the method.It is verified that optimizing the structure factors of the brake pads and brake disc can significantly improve the temperature field and stress field,and finally achieve the purpose of increasing the service life of the brake device.
