| Lighting is one of the most important environment factors in our daily life.It can affect our lives everyday.Lighting can affect students’ study performance and their visual development at school.Lighting can improve employee’s work efficiency and rasie up their state at office.Healthy lighting environment is the key point to ensure people have high quality sleep at home.Also,lighting can be used at hospital as a treatment for Alzheimer and SAD.This study explored the effect of CCT and circadian stimulus on human’s performance,visual fatigue and emotions of different age groups through physiological and physical psychological methods.The lighting environment includes five different CCTs:3000K,4000K,5000K,6500K,8000K and two different CS levels:0.2CS and 0.4CS.The subjects included three age groups:a group of children about 9 years old,a group of youth around 24 years old and an elder group about 64 years old.Experiment methods included cognitive test:concentration test,reading test,short-term memory test,visual test:visual acuity measurement,visual fatigue measurement,Landolt ring test,subjective emotion evaluation:emotional state questionnaire,lighting atmosphere questionnaire,and sleepiness questionnaire.The results show that CCT and CS have obvious effects on human concentration and visual fatigue.Under high CS lighting,the work performance of the subjects is better,and the impact level of different ages are different.For children and the elderly,CS has an impact on their visual fatigue.The CCT of their best working environment is also different among people of different ages,and the effect of CCT on visual fatigue is very weak.High CS and high CCT are more likely to stimulate the participants’ positive emotions. |
