The definition of thermal comfort shows that thermal comfort is a complex physiological state which is influenced by physical,physiological and psychological factors.So far,the research on thermal comfort is mainly based on physical factors such as environmental parameters,activity level and clothing thermal resistance.With the improvement of living standard,the requirement of indoor thermal environment comfort and satisfaction is getting higher and higher.In order to meet different needs of people,more and more research on the possible factors of thermal comfort has been done.Emotion is the reflection of human psychological activity,often accompanied by certain changes in physiological parameters.Some physiological parameters are related to thermal comfort.So exploring the influence of subjective emotion on thermal comfort is helpful to deepen the understanding of thermal comfort law,and to improve people's thermal comfort and thermal environment satisfaction from a human point of view.In this paper,the difference of thermal comfort of human body among neutral emotion and other two kinds of induced emotion was studied at different temperature and activity level using the method of combining subjective questionnaire survey with physiological parameter measurement to analyze the possible effects of emotion on thermal comfort.Through the analysis of the experimental data,it is shown that there are significant differences in the subjective voting of thermal comfort under different subjective emotions,and the physiological parameters related to thermal comfort show a certain regularity.The main conclusions are as follows:at the level of mild activity,the agitated emotion causes the thermal sensation to deviate from the thermal neutral more than that of the neutral emotion.The TSV is the closest to the thermal neutral state when people are in a pleasant mode.The PMV model can't predict the thermal comfort of the people in a certain emotional state accurately.At higher activity level,the effect of emotion on TSV was related to the active state and emotion has no effect on improving the thermal comfort.The analysis of other subjective voting shows that the thermal comfort and thermal___________________________________environment satisfaction decreased significantly under mild activity level when people are agitated,and the degree of thermal expectation deviating from neutral is higher.The thermal comfort and thermal environment satisfaction of people increased significantly,and the thermal expectation was close to neutral.At higher activity level,emotion had no significant effect on thermal comfort and thermal expectation,but the effect on thermal environment satisfaction was same with mild activity level.The analysis of physiological parameters shows that at mild activity level,systolic blood pressure,heart rate in pleasure mood were about equal to them in neutral emotion and increased significantly when agitated and the numerical value of LF/HF increased significantly when people are agitated.But the mood of pleasure decreased significantly.At higher activity level,different emotions had no significant effect on physiological parameters.Different emotions had no significant effects on skin temperature,ear temperature and diastolic blood pressure at all activity levels.Combined the analysis of physiological parameters with the subjective voting,it was concluded that the variation of physiological parameters and subjective voting was identical in mild activity.Systolic blood pressure,heart rate and LF/HF were correlated with thermal sensation and thermal comfort.It can be concluded that at the level of mild activity,the emotional state has a certain effect on the thermal comfort of people.In the stable environment,the pleasant mood can improve the thermal comfort of the human body,while the irritable emotion increases the thermal discomfort,which is reflected in the change of physiological parameters.Based on the results of the study,it is suggested that in the daily working environment,measures can be taken to induce positive and pleasant emotions of people in order to improve their thermal comfort and satisfaction with the thermal environment,and to reduce the thermal discomfort caused by bad emotions.It can also avoid unnecessary energy waste caused by excessive regulating of air conditioning systems.
