Gouty arthritis is a frequent disease caused by urate deposition,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.At present,curettage and radiofrequency vaporizer are mainly used to remove uric acid crystals,but they will recur because of incomplete removal.In this paper,a medical knife equipment for removing uric acid crystals is designed by using cavitating jet technology.Firstly,by investigating the research status of cavitation jet technology and medical water knife at home and abroad,we found that the application of cavitation jet technology in the field of Neurology and surgery has been found abroad.Cavitation jet has dozens of times stronger erosion effect than ordinary jet.We can use the cavitation jet to wash out the crystals thoroughly,while not destroying the normal tissues around the human body.Secondly,the mechanism of cleaning crystals by cavitating jet is deeply analyzed.It is found that material properties,submerged environment,nozzle structure,jet pressure,target distance and impact angle have great influence on the erosion effect of cavitating jet.In this paper,the erosion effect of cavitating jet is improved by creating a submerged environment,optimizing the nozzle structure and controlling the jet pressure.Then,we built the hardware of the experimental system of cavitating jet,including high-pressure pump station,closed chamber simulating human knee environment and negative pressure suction device.The structure of the nozzle was parameterized by ANSYS,and the flow field inside the nozzle was simulated by Fluent.We use endoscopy to observe the field of vision inside the chamber,and study and implement the image defogging algorithm.Next,we make a PID pressure balance control system based on STM32 MCU.It mainly includes the design of data acquisition module,STM32 controller module,DAC output voltage module,electric proportional valve control module and power module.We compiled the incremental PID algorithm program,ADC data acquisition program and serial communication program in Keil,and tuned the PID parameters.Finally,we completed three groups of cavitating jet flushing experiments.The experiment of washing rats proves that the cavitating jet can wash out gouty nodules without destroying normal tissues;the lowest jet pressure which does not destroy the skin of chicken wings is obtained through the experiment of washing chicken wings;the operation process of gouty arthritis is fully demonstrated by the experiment of washing paint,which indirectly proves the practicability of the device.
