With the tremendous progress of computer technology,the production line is stepping towards in a flexible and intelligent pattern.Therefore much higher requirements for simulation technology of production line will be put forward.At the same time,as the virtual reality technology sprung up and constantly developed.the interaction of human-computer mode has also changed.Production line simulation in virtual reality environment is becoming one of the popular research directions in intelligent manufacturing research and relevant education and teaching,since it can provide a more vivid graphic rendering environment,more realistic production animation and new human-computer interaction mode than traditional simulation methods.Based on the summary and analysis of the simulation system of virtual reality production line,the problem of dynamic editing and control of virtual equipment in production line simulation has be solved.Thus,an underlying system of production line simulation which based on finite state machine has be developed.And the design methods and interrelationships of the underlying base classes and interfaces has be proposed.Simultaneously,an object-oriented production line process expression model is designed as an information hub between the user and the simulation system.Finally,a transformation rules from flow model to state machine are established.And by interpreting the flow model and making full use of the underlying method,the state machines have be created.Then,flow simulation of the virtual production line is realized.Moreover,the external industrial controlling program,such as PLC and industrial robot program,has be used as the carrier of the virtual production line controlling logic.The system can interpret the robot and PLC program to complete the flow control of the production line.Firstly,the framework of interpreter of industrial controlling programming instruction is proposed.Then,the principle and implementation process of the lexical analyzer and parser in the interpreter are designed in detail.Additionally.Such many functions have be embedded in the bottom of the state machine of the simulation system,so that various functions can be cross-linked and flexibly invoked.Finally,based on the prototype of a teaching example production line in a university,a software named the Platform of Virtual Simulation Experiment of Intelligent Manufacturing Unit has be completed and went into service.Additionally,taking the electrode processing as an example,the related technologies such as production line process simulation and industrial robot control simulation are verified in the software.The simulation software of production line which developed by the above key technologies has high code reuse rate,powerful logic function,great dynamic characteristics and graphic immersion.It provides a new idea for the development of simulation software of virtual reality production line in the future.
