Recently years,the level of urbanization in China has been continuously improved.The high-capacity trunk transit such as subway,light rail,and rapid transit extends to the outskirts of the city,Which has effectively solved the travel between districts.However,the surrounding regions are sparsely populated,the residents are scattered,so there is a blank area for transit services.At the same time,due to the small total number of trips in the region,the poor efficiency of fixed-line public transport operations,the low number of fixed-line transit and the few vehicles in operation,it is difficult to meet the residents' demand of public transportation in these areas.The conventional public transit follows fixed lines and fixed schedules,so the vehicles cannot be fully utilized,and the public transport resources are wasted.it is quite important to find a suitable connection mode for the transit in low demand areas to improve the convenience for residents.Based on the advanced experience of foreign countries,this thesis will regard the demand responsive transit as the key to solve the connection of low-demand areas and hub transfer stations.The responsive feeder transit will be designed,and this type of routing design and scheduling scheme will be studied.A theoretical support for the practical application of responsive feeder transit in China it will be provided.Firstly,on the basis of the research at domestic and foreign.In these thesis,the concept of demand responsive transit is defined,the influence factors of responsive feeder transit system is analyzed,typical models and methods for vehicle routing optimization and vehicle scheduling is explained;Secondly,the correlation between vehicle routing and scheduling is analyzed,and the need for coordinated optimization between the two is illustrated.A smaller service area is taken as the research object.Without partitioning,a coordinated optimization model with high degree of freedom responsive feeder transit for vehicle routing and scheduling is constructed,and the genetic algorithm is used to design the solution algorithm.Thirdly,because the time of passengers' and the capacity of vehicles'are limited,larger service areas may be required open multiple lines and run multiple vehicles.To minimize operating costs,further subdivision of the service areas and clarification of the lines and vehicles in the service areas should be taken into consideration.A larger service area is taken as the research object.Coordination optimization model for high-degree-of-freedom response feeder transit route and scheduling in larger service areas is constructed,and the solution algorithm is designed.Lastly,through the example,the validity of the model is verified,and the partitioning and non-partitioning of the vehicle's optimal route and departure schedule under different conditions are obtained.By comparison,the conclusion that under the larger service area subdividing the service area can effectively reduce system operating costs is demonstratedA reference for solving the bus travel in large service areas of outskirts with low-demand of travel is provided in this paper,which can provides theoretical support for the planning and scheduling of responsive feeder transit.It can play a significant role in promoting the practical application of the demand responsive transit in China.
