Due to its simple structure,easy erection,large capacity and other characteristics,wheel-coupler steel tube formwork support has been successfully applied to many practical projects and occupy a certain market share in the construction field.However,the overall application of the formwork support is relatively short,and the related design theory and construction safety technology need to be further studied.In particular,the wheel-coupler node is different from the structure of other support nodes,and the related mechanical properties of the node are very important to the stable bearing of the support.This article focuses on the mechanical properties of the wheel-coupler node The related contents are as follows:(1)The anti-pull-out performance of the wheel-coupler node has been studied.The model of the wheel-coupler node has been simplified,The force and pull-out resistance of the plug is analyzed when the wheel-coupler node is subjected to axial tension and positive and negative bending moment.The finite element model of the wheel-coupler node was established based on ANSYS and the anti-pull-off performance of the plug before plastic failure was analyzed.At the same time,the anti-pull force of the node conector under the unilateral horizontal force and the repeated hydraulic force is designed and tested by four different structures of the flat frame body.It is concluded that the anti-pull-off performance of the wheel-coupler node's plug is good,which can ensure the safe use of formwork support.(2)Based on the nonlinear theory,the ANSYS software was introduced to establish the finite element model of the wheel-coupler node.The numerical simulation of buckle plate shear resistance,node tension,pressure,vertical and horizontal bending resistance were carried out respectively.The structure displacement deformation and stress distribution was investigated.The extension process of the plastic zone has been also studied.Based on the finite element model,the force transmission path of the wheel buckle node under various loads,and the normal use load and the failure limit load has been carefully studied.(3)The finite element model of the semi-rigid connection node wheel-coupler steel tube formwork support was established.Based on different structural measures,initial defects of different sizes and different set-up parameters,the stability bearing capacity of formwork support and the stress status of the wheel-coupler node when the stability was inconsistent was investigated.The results of the previous two chapters were compared.The reasonable recommendations are made for the requirements for the construction measures of wheel-coupler steel tube formwork support,the control of initial defects,and the selection of built-up dimension parameters.
