The steel tubular formwork support frame is used in longspan or large clearance building interior to temporary support when the concrete cast-in-site construction. However, the deficiency of research on the formwork support frame that induce structural failures. Wheel Buckle scaffolding is a new type scaffolding that researched by our country. It is summarized of advantages and disadvantages from many types scaffolding. Wheel Buckle scaffolding has more stable connection than traditional scaffolding, its construction speed and connection quality are traditional scaffolding incomparable. The paper for the wheel buckle steel tubular formwork support frame, based on other's works about support frame, the author performed following works through analysis and calculation:(1)In order to realize the joint semi-rigid trait for wheel buckle scaffolding, joint semi-rigid test program is formulated and measurement. The M-θr curve is portrayed by analysis of the semi-rigid test data. Its semi-rigid stiffness compared and analyzed with traditional fastener tubular steel scaffolding.(2)The calculation methods of formwork support frame are summarized. The calculation method for the wheel buckle steel tubular formwork support frame is ascertained through using SAP2000 to analyze of different connections.(3)The stiffness value of semi-rigid joint of wheel buckle scaffolding is defined. The affects of various factors to stability bearing capacity of wheel buckle steel tubular formwork support frame such as floor members, step length, span, horizontal scissors supports, vertical scissors supports, upright extruding from top horizontal bars are analyzed through using SAP2000 to build support frame finite element calculation models.(4)The stability bearing capacity of wheel buckle high formwork support frame is designed and analyzed by combined with engineering case. It is analyzed and summarized that the construction safety technical requirements, cautions, deformation monitoring and formwork construction safety measures. It is provided effective reference for wheel buckle formwork support frame application.
