In recent years,China's earthquake has become more and more frequent,the loss is serious.At present,traditional architecture and most of the buildings in China's countries are masonry structures which masonry is made up of bricks and mortar.The non-uniformity and direction of the masonry structure make the basic theoretical research of the masonry structure more difficult,it is not enough to study the seismic performance of masonry structures,which impacts its application in the engineering.There is less research on out-of-plane collapse under earthquake action,and there are few out-of-plane experiments for the masonry structure in China,and the methods of research are imperfect.In this paper,the rigid homogenization method is adopted to select the appropriate rigid homogenization of the modeling method of the Representative Volume Element(RVE),the equivalent parameters obtained by the analysis are applied to the existing out-of-plane experiment,ABAQUS finite Element analysis software is usually used to simulate with wall film,and the influence parameters of the outer limit load of the non-reinforced masonry wall are studied,which provides reference for the study of the masonry plane.In this paper,the research content:(1)Summed up the research process of the rigid homogenization method and the use of rigid homogenization theory in the feasibility of the out-of-plane mechanical properties of masonry,and described two-dimensional periodic model of masonry and three-dimensional discrete model.(2)Analyzed the influence factors of RVE unit size selection,based on the correspondence theory will be four laying mode of whole wall by using rectangular partition lattice track segmentation,generated in conjunction of RVE unit,list the four way of RVE of the masonry unit size and the formula for calculating the equivalent elastic constants.(3)Due to the existing test of two pieces of wall which masonry mode for YiShun yiding,use ABAQUS finite element software and adopt reasonable material equivalent parameters,the brick and mortar are separated with separate modeling method to establish the finite element model of RVE of the masonry.We simulated the RVE units of uniaxial compression,uniaxial tensile and pure shear properties.Analysis the RVE unit of the stress-strain relationship of each direction,peak intensity and peak strain,and according to the orthogonal anisotropic elastic matrix to calculate the equivalent elastic constants of the RVE of masonry,and verify the anisotropic properties of the RVE of masonry.(4)It was found that that equivalent elastic constant of RVE obtained by the rigid homogenization method was used in the out-of-plane test,the whole model was established to verify the feasibility of applying the rigid homogenization method to the performance of the out-of-plane properties of masonry structure.Analyzed the different high walls with different top of the vertical compressive stress and high thickness ratio and unreinforced masonry wall and different ratio of out-of-plane limit load,afford for reference to engineering masonry structure on the out-of-plane design.
