With the development of modern military science and technology, the research of stealth technology has received extensive attention from major military powers around the world. As important military equipment in modern warfare, aircraft is one of the main research objects of stealth technology. When studying the radar stealth technology of aircraft, the Radar Cross Section(RCS)of the aircraft, the scattering mechanism and scattering contribution of the main components of the aircraft must be firstly analyzed. In recent years, with the development of electromagnetic calculation methods, calculation techniques of RCS simulation and estimation methods for electric large-scale targets such as aircraft have emerged in an endless stream. However, most of the RCS simulation analysis methods for aircraft targets are mainly based on high-frequency approximation methods at present. With relatively poor accuracy of simulation results,it is impossible to accurately simulate the RCS characteristics of the aircraft target. At the same time, when analyzing aircraft scattering sources, there is a lack of a method that can be used to accurately analyze the scattering contribution of various components of the aircraft. This thesis first introduces basic principles of the calculation of RCS of aircrafts by using Higher Order Method of Moments(HO-Mo M).Then a method based on the overall solution of the Mo M to quantitatively analyze the scattering contribution of electromagnetic flows on each component of the aircraft is proposed. On the basis of the current coefficient matrix obtained by the Mo M,this method calculates the contribution value generated by electromagnetic flows on each component region from the sub-region by marking and partitioning the aircraft target. This method takes full account of the mutual coupling between various component regions, and the sum of the contribution of all component regions is be equal to the overall solution. This thesis sets the analysis of one stealth fighter with real size as the simulation model and analyzes the RCS contribution value to the whole stealth fighter at different incident angles of six main components, including the head, the inlet, the wings, the horizontal tail wings, the vertical tail wings and the jet nozzle. Then the reduction scheme of RCS is discussed by using coating stealth method and structure stealth method separately.Afterwards, the effect of the reduction scheme of each component on the whole fighter is simulated andcalculated and the reduction scheme of the whole fighter is carried out based on the analysis result.Super computer platforms are adopted to realize the simulation of the reduction effect of the whole target, while the results turn out that the effect accords with expectations. In addition, this thesis also analyzes the effect of the electromagnetic flows of aircraft components in RCS when adding antenna. This thesis proposes a new method for analyzing the effect of electromagnetic flows of components on RCS based on the overall solution of method of moments, offering a new way of analyzing RCS characteristics of aircrafts(including the antenna in carrier platforms).
