The transponder is usually installed on the aerocraft,and completes the measurement and control task with the Ground Radar.The boot transponder extends the application of the transponder from the field of air traffic control to the landing guidance field.It mainly used in aircraft landing and taxiing down stage,taking off and landing stage work,cruise phase does not work.The main purpose of the boot transponder is to guide the aircraft to take off and landing safely,so as to ensure the smooth completion of the flight mission.The ZJY type boot transponder is a kind of equipment applied to the external field flight support.The ZJY type boot transponder is a kind of equipment applied to the external field flight support.With the deepening of the flight test,the frequency offset and power decline of the transponder occurred occasionally.Because there are no special testing instruments in the outfield,it is hardly to detect and troubleshoot the phenomenon accurately and timely,which is a major threat to the flight support.Therefore,it is particularly necessary for a test device to detect the function and performance of the transponder in the external field.The ZJY type guidance transponder outfield test equipment is designed and completed according to the requirement.It can detect the troubleshooting of the transponder before flight,and ensure that the transponder works normally before take-off.This thesis is based on the development of the external field test equipment for the ZJY type boot transponder,and carries out the implementation of the test equipment.In this paper,the classification of the transponder is briefly described,and the boot transponder is described,and the domestic research on the guidance radar is also discussed.Then the technical and detection principle of the ZJY type boot transponder are described in detail.Finally,the overall design scheme of the external field test equipment for the transponder is proposed.The hardware implementation is divided into 4 cell modules,which are divided into power supply unit,display and control unit,transceiver unit and signal processing unit.Each unit is designed and explained separately.The signal processing unit is emphatically analyzed,and the hardware platform is based on the core of programmable logic device FPGA and DSP.Signal processing mainly implements the digitalization of input IF signal,IF sampling,orthogonal transformation,pulse compression,coherent integration,and storage of related data.It also focuses on how to effectively detect the frequency offset and power decline of the transponder.Finally complete the whole signal processing unit and test equipment development and design work.Finally,through the laboratory verification of the test equipment,the validity and practicability of the test equipment are confirmed.The external field test equipment of the transponder is a necessary equipment to ensure the complete function and excellent performance of the transponder.The test equipment has the advantages of flexible design,high reliability,high intelligence,high processing speed,simple operation,low cost,small volume,convenient carrying in the external field.It can detect the function and performance of the transponder in a full range,and meet the needs of military equipment support,and has high practical value in improving the outfield test ability of radar equipment and the operation and training ability of operators.Meanwhile,the installation of the test equipment is of great significance to improve the security capability and combat effectiveness of the military.
