Insulator is a special insulation control to increase creepage distance.It is used to fix the live conductor in the transmission line to ensure the enough distance and insulation between the conductor and the earth.However,the insulator will be polluted by natural environment,industrial dust and vehicle exhaust for a long time,and it is easy to deposit the contaminated layer on the insulator surface.In the polluted layer,the conductive electrolyte is easy to exist.When it encounters the bad weather such as fog,dew,snow and drizzle,it will damp and soak,which will lead to the decrease of the electrical strength of insulators and pollution flashover discharge,which is called pollution flashover.Under this background,the design of transmission line insulator cleaning device,this device can realize the cleaning of the insulator layer,reduces the pollution flashover accidents,and can improve the efficiency of cleaning insulators,ensure the cleaning effect and improve the safety of the cleaning process.The main research results are as follows:(1)The mechanism of DC and AC Flashover of polluted insulators is studied.At the same time,the differences between the two flashover mechanisms are compared and analyzed.The factors that influence the flashover voltage of polluted insulators are further studied,and the degree of contamination accumulation is expressed by using the equivalent salt density value.(2)The operation requirements and technical conditions of insulators for transmission line insulators are analyzed,and the cleaning methods are studied,so as to determine the cleaning scheme of transmission line insulators,and finally complete the overall structure design of the device.(3)Through the research on the basic configuration and driving mode of the robot,the Cartesian coordinate robot driven by motor is chosen as the carrier of the cleaning device.The kinematics analysis of the robot is carried out by using the D-H parameter method,the forward kinematics and inverse kinematics are solved,and the simulation analysis of the device is carried out by using ADAMS software,and the displacement,velocity and acceleration curves of the end effector of the cleaning device are obtained.(4)According to the cleaning requirements of the insulator,the cleaning bracket is designed to complete the cleaning of the circumference of the insulator.In the cleaning bracket,the pneumatic system is used to drive the cleaning arm,so that the cleaning bracket has the function of opening and closing.(5)The water jet impact dynamics and the classification and structure of water jet are studied,and the cleaning mechanism of water jet is studied,the cleaning scheme is determined,and the overall design of the cleaning system is carried out.(6)In the control system of transmission line insulator cleaning device,PLC is adopted as the main control unit,and the touch screen is used as the host computer to control the joints in X,Y,Z directions,the arm rotation joint,the pitch adjustment joint,the pneumatic system and the cleaning system.
