Global automobile technology presents the trend of “low carbonization,information,and intelligence”.The country proposes the strategy of “energy-saving and new energy vehicles” and pays close attention to the research,development and industrialization of new energy vehicles.It is a basic trend for the new energy vehicle to become the mainstream product.The problem of battery life for electric vehicles can be solved through the following two techniques: first,to increase the capacity of the vehicle-mounted power;second,to optimize the power consumption strategy and improve the efficiency of the use of electrical energy.The braking energy recovery technology for electric vehicles is one of the research directions for optimizing the power consumption strategy.This article focuses on the life time of electric vehicles and studied the technology of braking energy recovery for electric vehicles.The specific content mainly includes the following two aspects:First of all,from the perspective of realizing the braking energy recovery,an integrated motor controller with energy recovery function is designed.The control object is a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor.The main research contents include: through the research on the current status of the development of energy recovery technology for electric vehicles,the principles of regenerative braking and the way of regenerative braking for permanent magnet synchronous motors are analyzed.Based on the physical modeling platform in MATLAB/Simulink,The regenerative braking control system simulation model was build,verified the feasibility of regenerative braking control method.Finally,designing hardware circuits,programming and experimenting.The results show that the energy recovery controller designed in this paper can realize the braking energy recovery function.Second,in order to improve the efficiency of energy recovery,considering the stability and stress of the vehicle,the control strategy of the braking energy recovery of the electric vehicle is studied.In this study,using the vehicle simulation software ADVISOR to build a pure electric vehicle model,through the study of the original brake control strategy in software,and a segmented brake control strategy based on braking strength was designed and embedded into the software.Simulations show that the subsection-type brake control strategy has better energy recovery efficiency under frequent startstop city road conditions.Finally,through the simulation and experimental results,it is concluded that adding an energy recovery function to the braking system of an electric vehicle can effectively improve the efficiency of the onboard power supply,extend the cruising range,and provide braking force during braking.It is good for the brake safety of the vehicle.
