Gear is widely used in various industries as an important part of modern transmission.The working process of gears can make the contact stress which causes contact deformation and even pitting.In some conditions,the temperature may be high,which will affect the gear deformation and lubrication conditions and influences the gear transmission stability and using-life.Therefore,The working temperature is also an important indicator of the gear.Facing the problems above,this paper researches on the reliability of gears with the influence of temperature.The main working of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)Basing on the theory of Kriging model,we improved a new algorithm to estimated failure probability.This algorithm divided the points into k parts,and selects the best points which can influence the estimated failure probability well.Finally add these points into the Kriging model to refresh it.It used the theory of cluster analysis to improve the peed of runing.Using the cluster analysis,it can select several best next points once a time,which can reduces the number of iterations.(2)Using the ANSYS software to build parametric modeling of a pair of gears.This part using the finite element method to analyze gears with the influence of temperature.Finally getting the values of maximum contact stress,and researching the influence of temperature.(3)Using the improved algorithm to analyze the reliability of gears contact stress with considering the influence of temperature or not.Comparing the estimated failure probability to research the influence of temperature.
