Most of Guangxi belongs to the warm and humid subtropical monsoon climate.In the hot climate,asphalt is prone to rut,push,wave and other diseases.Especially rutting disease is a common problem of asphalt pavement in Guangxi.Albania natural undersea asphalt(ARA)is a kind of natural asphalt,which can improve the high temperature stability and water stability of asphalt products.At present,the research and application of natural asphalt in China are mainly based on Budun bitumen,North American rock asphalt and TLA lake asphalt,but there is little research on Albanian natural undersea asphalt(ARA).In order to further study the performance of natural undersea asphalt(ARA)and its mixture in Albania,the research methods of natural asphalt such as Budun Rock Asphalt and North American Rock Asphalt are used for reference in this paper.In order to promote the popularization and application of ARA modified asphalt in our country,the modification mechanism,rheological property analysis,mix proportion design of asphalt mixture and road performance are studied in order to promote the popularization and application of ARA modified asphalt in road engineering in China.In this paper,the asphalt properties of matrix asphalt,Albanian natural undersea asphalt and ARA modified asphalt with different blending ratio were studied,and the penetration,softening point and ductility were used.The penetration ratio and mass loss ratio before and after aging test were used to evaluate the high temperature stability,water stability,temperature sensing,So as to the recoverable deformation capacity and resistance to high temperature deformation.The experimental results show that ARA modified asphalt has good road performance.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of former researches and many indoor tests,the ARA modified asphalt with different blending ratio was studied by dynamic shear rheological test(DSR),and the deformability of ARA modified asphalt was studied.The recoverable deformation capacity and resistance to high temperature deformation were evaluated and analyzed.The experimental results show that ARA modified asphalt has good road performance.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of existing research,through a large number of indoor tests,the ARA modified asphalt with different blending ratio was studied systematically,respectively through Marshall test,high temperature rutting test and immersion Marshall test.The high temperature,low temperature and water stability properties of ARA modified asphalt mixture with different blending ratio were evaluated and analyzed by freeze-thaw splitting and low temperature trabecular bending test.The road performance of ARA modified asphalt mixture with different blending ratio was compared and analyzed.According to the requirements of practical engineering application,according to the indoor test results of ARA modified asphalt and its mixture,the construction technology of ARA modified asphalt mixture is determined by testing each index of test section.The research results of this paper can be used to popularize and apply the modification technology of Albanian natural undersea asphalt.
