During its operation of these years in China,Multiple Units has effectively relieved the stress of passenger transport and greatly promoted the development of national economy with its high speed,environmental protection,safety,etc.It has proved that it is a wise to operate high-speed EMUs in our country.The study on EMUs is imperative.As a key part of EMUs,the Auxiliary power supply system can ensure the safety of vehicles and provide a more comfortable riding environment for passengers.So it is also a research topic.The load of the Auxiliary power supply system contains auxiliary traction load(such as the cooling equipments of compressor,transformer and traction converter),passenger comfort load(such as Air conditioning system,bathroom,water heater),output load of Charger(such as Battery,lighting,control system and monitoring system),and driver chamber load(such as the air conditioning in driver room).The study of EMUs in our country was started later than some foreign coutries.our scientific and technological level compared with the newly industrialized countries are still far,not only in the research and development of power electronic device,but also in less experience of the application research on Auxiliary power supply system.Though foreign joint venture and the introduction of Technology,we should develop the most suitable Auxiliary power supply system.for our own EMUs on the basis of technology digestion and overall consideration.In this thesis,the development of several MUs and the structure of typical auxiliary power supply system,are firstly introduced,which are related to Auxiliary power supply system of EMUs.Secondly several kinds of typical circuit constructions used in auxiliary power supply system are analysed and the control methods and output characteristics of it are introduced.Then the Auxiliary power supply system of CRH5 is studied,and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink.The simulation simulates the whole process from pantograph,four quadrant rectifier,buck chopper circuit,auxiliary inverter to the load.Finally,the method of Load switching is considered under the conditions that Auxiliary power supply system is broken down.Calculation is done in order to make sure the amount of every inverter'.Load.The situation of Load switching is also simulated in order to observe the stability of the model.The battery charger,another important part of auxiliary power supply system is also simulated and studied.
