Ultrasonic motor(USM)is a new principle motor developed in the 1980s.It is different from traditional motors in principle,using the converse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric materials converts electrical energy on the piezoelectric oscillator(stator)into micro vibration in the ultrasonic frequency domain,then convert oscillator micro vibration to rotor macro linear(rotating)motion by the friction effect between stator and rotor,thus outputting the power and driving the load.As a new type actuator of Ultrasonic motor,it has the advantages of simple structure,fast response,low noise,low speed,large torque,easy to control,no electromagnetic interference and self-locking when power is off.Based on the unique advantages of the ultrasonic motor,which make ultrasonic motor have wide promising in the field of micro machinery,automobile industry,intelligent robot,precision instruments,aerospace etc.To meet the demand of application in many fields,all kinds of structure forms of ultrasonic motor arises at the historic moment,the miniaturization and large torque become the research focus.On the base of searching and reading mass of reference,in this paper,the double-stator bar-type bending ultrasonic motor as the research object are studied from the aspects of the operation mechanism,design theory and electrical matching,manufactured the motor prototype.
