Pallets have provided great convenience for the loading,unloading,transportation and storage of goods,and effectively promoted the development of logistics industry as an important operation unit in modern logistics system.And the paper pallets have been widely used in the transportation of goods such as household,valuables and fragile items for the characteristics of light in quality,recyclable,environmentally friendly and pollution-free.However,most of the production methods were manual or semi-automatic auxiliary processing due to the different shapes of the products and the different specifications of the paper pallets circulated in the market,which had low production efficiency and difficult to ensure the accuracy of the installation dimensions.The demand for flexible automated production equipment to quickly complete the production of various types of pallets was increasing day by day.With the rise of Intelligent Manufacturing in recent years,EtherCAT bus technology has been widely used in various automation equipments because of the characteristics of its flexible topology,good real-time performance,high synchronization and low cost.Therefore,the research and implementation of fully automatic pallet production equipment based on EtherCAT bus was completed in order to meet the needs of enterprises in this paper.And the main content of this paper is as follows:(1)Mechanical structure design of automatic pallet production equipment.Based on the analysis of the production process of corrugated paper pallet,the mechanical structure scheme of the automatic pallet production equipment was designed,the three-dimensional model of the mechanical structure of the equipment was established,the selection of the key parts in the mechanical structure design was carried out,and the finite element static analysis of the door bracket structure of the equipment was carried out to verify the reliability of the design scheme.(2)Design of control system based on EtherCAT bus.According to the control function requirements of the equipment,the strong electric system and pneumatic control circuit of the equipment were designed,the measurement and control system based on EtherCAT bus was established,and the visual detection function was integrated.The voltage and charge amplification circuit board and the EtherCAT I/O circuit board for the EtherCAT measurement and control board were designed and made.(3)Design and development of equipment control system software.Based on the hardware of the control system,the main program of EtherCAT master station based on Windows+KRTS and the software of automatic pallet production equipment control system was designed and developed,the man-machine interface of the equipment control system was designed and developed,and the vision detection function control software was developed.(4)Overall equipment implementation and performance testing.The installation,debugging and operation of the whole automatic pallet production equipment based on EtherCAT bus was completed,and it was verified that the equipment met the requirements of automatic flexible production.The real-time of equipment control system and EtherCAT I/O circuit board were measured,the acquisition performance of EtherCAT circuit board A/D and the function of voltage charge amplification circuit board were verified,and the vision servo control system was tested.
