Compressor impeller is a key component of turbocharger to ensure its safe and smooth operation.First of all,the compressor impeller generally adopt aluminum alloy manufacture,its mechanical performance is far less than the steel mechanical properties,plastic deformation usually occurs at the bottom and root of the impeller in its high-speed rotation,this will affect the safe operation of the supercharger.Secondly,the impeller is usually assembled by means of bolts,nuts and gaskets.When they are subjected to external forces,the contact state between them will change,which will exert a great influence on the assembly stress and the deformation of the impeller.Finally,compressor impeller has a bad working environment.Under the action of high centrifugal force and high thermal stress,the excitation force of cyclic variation is easily generated around the impeller.This will create a resonance phenomenon that threatens the safety of the impeller.Therefore,in order to solve the above problems,this paper conducts elastic and elastic-plastic analysis,elastic and elastic-plastic contact analysis and vibration characteristics analysis of the compressor impeller.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Using Pro/E software to establish the geometric model of the turbocharger compressor impeller,then build the finite element model of the impeller by Hypermsh software.Finally,the finite element model will be introduced into ABAQUS software.Firstly according to the boundary conditions and the load,the elastic analysis of the impeller is conducted.Secondly,the characteristics of preoverspeed manufacturing process are used in the manufacture of compressor impeller,using the elastoplastic incremental calculation method in the analysis,ABAQUS software is used to analyse the whole impeller elastic-plastic finite element analysis.The relation between rotational speed and displacement,speed and stress is obtained.(2)Using the Hypermesh software to completely simulate the actual assembly of the compressor,the finite element model of the impeller assembly of the compressor is established.Then it will be introduced into ABAQUS software to establish elastic contact and elastoplastic contact respectively.Firstly,according to the boundary conditions and the load,the elastic contact analysis of the impeller assembly is conducted.Secondly,the characteristics of preoverspeed manufacturing process are used in the manufacture of compressor impeller,using the elastoplastic incremental calculation method in the analysis,ABAQUS software is used to analyse the impeller assembly elastic-plastic contact finite element analysis.The influences of speed and pretension on contact force,friction stress,slip,plastic strain,stress and displacement are obtained.(3)Using Hypermesh software to establish the finite element model of single impeller,then the finite element model will be introduced into ABAQUS software.The frequency extraction and analysis step is established,and according to the boundary condition and load,the vibration mode and the natural frequency of the impeller at different speeds are studied,and the resonance point is found.
