Firstly, based on the elementary theories of strengthening reinforced concrete structures, the designing formulas for common means are conformed and refined, and these formulas are also some complementarity for TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR STRENGTHENING CONCRETE STRUCTURES (CECS 25:90). The software ,"Toolbox for strengthening reinforced concrete elements", is developed, it is used for strengthening elements, including automatically producing particular design reports. By further developing AutoCAD, automatically producing the building drawings is realized. Secondly, the software, "Strengthening for Builded Reinforced Concrete Frame Structures" (ab. SBRCFS), is developed, it is used for analyzing and strengthening the builded reinforced concrete frame structures, and analyzing the strengthened structures. The fore treatment of SBRCFS, according to the principles of Computer Graphics, is graphical input. The kernel calculation adopts the ideals of Finite Element Method (ab. FEM), the plastic adjustment and force disadvantage combinations are taken into account, these make the calculation more reasonable. The next, strengthened reinforced concrete element is given an Elastic-Plastic Analysis. The research about Static Elastic-Plastic Analysis for strengthened reinforced concrete frame structures, under seismic effect, is done. The relevant programs are created. Some discussion about the affection of the strengthening is given. At last, the study about Elastic-Plastic Time History Analysis for reinforced concrete frame structures is carried. The relevant programs are created, too. Some discussion about the affection of strengthening is given, and some comparison about several plans is done. As an example, a three-storey building is strengthened in this study. The example makes it clear that the "Computer Aided Design for Strengthening Reinforced Concrete Structures", which is developed in this study, can be applied to strengthening and analyzing for reinforced concrete frame structures, and is high-level in theory and utility.
