Zinc Oxide arrester is mainly composed of Zinc Oxide varistors.The nonlinear volt ampere characteristic of the Zinc Oxide valve is very good.The Zinc Oxide arrester has a good flow ability and can absorb all kinds of overvoltage and overvoltage.Both the substation and the transmission line,the Zinc Oxide lightning arrester are the main equipment for the overvoltage protection of the power system,and become the insulation coordination of the power system.Important equipment.When the Zinc Oxide arrester with clearance is running normally,the Zinc Oxide valve plate is almost unaffected by the power frequency voltage,and the valve plate is not easy to age,but in actual operation,the clearance and damp phenomenon of the clearance of the Zinc Oxide arrester with clearance still appear in the actual operation.Because of the air gap and no leakage current in normal operation,the commonly used method of full current analysis,harmonic analysis monitoring and infrared temperature measurement of Zinc Oxide arrester can not be used.So far,there is no effective monitoring method for the clearance of Zinc Oxide arrester with gap.In this paper,the lightning shock characteristics of the Zinc Oxide arrester with clearance are studied by ATP simulation and test.The relationship between the number of lightning shock times,the amplitude of the impact current and the change of the surface temperature of the body when the impact of the impact on the aging and moisture of the Zinc Oxide valve plate is obtained.On this basis,a state evaluation method for Zinc Oxide arrester with gap is proposed.In the effective state evaluation method,we design and develop the state inspection system for Zinc Oxide arresters with gaps.The system mainly includes field unit intelligent sensor,handheld patrol tester,background database and background data analysis system.The intelligent sensor starts the detection circuit when the current is impacted by large current,detects the amplitude,time and cumulative impact times of the impact current,and detects the surface temperature of the lightning arrester before and after the impact.The data is stored in the field unit-intelligent sensor.When inspecting,the handset sends out the radio frequency signal to wake the intelligent sensor,and reads the monitoring data,and passes through the monitoring data.Through GPRS,the data will be transmitted to the backstage arrester database to diagnose the state of arrester comprehensively.This is of practical significance and practical value for the safe operation of the Zinc Oxide arrester with gaps and the safety of the power grid.
