Study On Traditional Settlement And Residential Buildings In The Southern Taihang Mountains Of Henan Province

The southern taihang mountain area is an important geographical cultural and administrative area in northern henan province.The origin of the study on the traditional settlement of southern taihang in henan province is mainly from two aspects: first,the importance and uniqueness of the southern taihang region.From the perspective of large landforms,taihang mountain is an important part of the basic vertical framework of Chinese landforms,and the southern taihang mountain is the starting place of the whole taihang mountain.From the perspective of the origin of civilization,10,000 years ago,about the transition period of the neolithic and paleolithic ages,there were human activities in the wangwu mountain area of jiyuan in the southwest of taihang.At the same time,neolithic cultural relics were also found in hebi area in the northeast of nantaihang.The second is based on the practice and thinking of the protection and sustainable development of the traditional settlement of southern taihang.Southern taihang is located at the junction of shanxi,henan and hebei provinces.With frequent cultural and trade exchanges,the style of settlements and dwellings will be affected.At the same time,it is located in the mountainous area,forming a settlement style dominated by stone dwellings with distinctive features.At present,the vigorous development of mountain tourism and homestay puts forward new requirements for the protection of villages and produces new problems,which need to be solved in combination with practical development.Through literature study,field research and type induction,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis and arrangement of the typical traditional settlements of southern taihang.From the aspects of society,economy,culture,history and geography,this paper sorts out the relationship between the types,spatial composition,spatial form,settlement style and stone dwellings of traditional settlements in southern taihang,and summarizes their characteristics.On this basis,the framework system for the study of traditional settlements and dwellings in southern taihang mountain of henan province is preliminarily established.Finally,through the concrete design practice,the protection and reuse methods of the traditional settlements in southern taihang are discussed.This paper is divided into six parts:Chapter one: introduction.This paper discusses the background and significance of the research,and reviews the related literature of traditional settlements in China,henan province and southern taihang region.The scope,object and content of the research are clarified,and the key concepts involved in the paper are explained.Finally,the specific research methods and framework are proposed.Chapter two: present situation and field investigation of traditional settlements in south taihang mountain,henan province.From the origin and development,site selection and layout,natural environment and social environment of the traditional settlement of southern taihang,the historical evolution and formation mechanism of the settlement are explained,and its current situation is revealed.On this basis,a field survey was conducted on the settlement,and the overall situation and existing problems of the settlement were summarized from the contents and methods of the survey.Chapter three: traditional settlement types and spatial composition of taihang mountain in southern henan province.Based on the natural and social environment formed by the traditional settlement of taihang in the south,and referring to the origin,development,site selection and layout of the settlement,the type,spatial composition and spatial form of the settlement were sorted out,and the relevant characteristics were summarized.Chapter four: traditional settlement style and stone dwellings of taihang mountain in south henan province.The stone dwellings of taihang in the south are the foundation and the entry point to summarize the composition and characteristics of settlement style.Then it discusses the relationship between residential architecture,residential construction,residential decoration and settlement style.Chapter five: protection and reuse of traditional settlements in south taihang mountain,henan province.The principles and methods for the protection of traditional settlements in southern taihang are put forward,and then the methods for the protection and reuse of traditional settlements in southern taihang are discussed through specific design practice.Chapter six: conclusion.This paper theoretically summarizes the research on the traditional settlements and residential buildings in southern taihang.
