In the 21st century, with the increasing enrichment of material life, people have a stronger demand for spiritual culture which is embodied by rapid development of rural tourism industry.Non-standardized accommodation product has emerged as the rapid development under this background. However,in addition to the relativity with standard hotels today,it fails to get a more comprehensive positioning and specification. With the deepening of "building beautiful countryside"and"rural revitalization strategy",the government will gradually implement strict management on such product which will develop towards "Standardization",thereby positioning and standardizing it in terms of capital intervention, operation mode, resources and so on.Defining the form of non-standardized accommodation product, positioning and standardizing such product are crucial to its healthy development. The linchpin of non-standardized accommodation product,Minshuku, are an unavoidable topic when we discuss such product.Currently although Minshuku have gained momentum in China, its conception is being confused with that of Agritainment and family-run hotels. For researches on Minshuku,we analyze tourism and operation more. But it is undeniable that the design of Minshuku is an essentially architectural design and an important direction in the practice of modern architects. In terms of architectural design, compared with urban construction, the design of Minshuku is facing more practical challenges. When designing, architects must consider the mutual constraints of operators, funds, construction conditions, market and other factors. How to combine the mutually constrained factors to build high-quality Minshuku is a problem that architects must focus on in the development of Minshuku. This paper is divided into four parts:first,it sorts out and analyzes the development history of Minshuku,Agritainment and family-run hotels, and summarizes the origin and future of non-standardized accommodation products such as Minshuku.Second,it contrasts the definition of Minshuku with that of Agritainment, mainly based on definition factors such as main body of the building, resources, operation mode and so on.It analyses the current non-standardized types to distinguish the similarities and differences of related conceptual subjects.Third,it analyzes the standard of the building construction.Based on market research and through the analysis of local policies,it finds out the existing problems in current product development to summarize the market demand for different products.Fourth, the case analysis. It analyzes products with different capital intervention such as Lost Villa Boutique Hotel&Resorts(Mount Mogan Yucun),Sury Resort No.3 in Moganshan,Cunshang Hushe Boutique Hostel,Ruralation Daijiashan, and Xipo Minshuku. It summarizes and sorts out the obtaining of land-use right, scheme design, operation and approval of the project.By showing the process from scheme design through construction to operation,it demonstrates the process of Minshuku from conception through construction to operation, and understands the roles of the government, operators and architects in the construction of Minshuku. In addition,by analyzing these five cases,it can be found that how architects reflect the society and nature in a differentiated state. From the case analysis,it is concluded that it is the good cooperation of the government, operation team, building team and construction team that ensures the quality of Minshuku, and that only when each project of Minshuku is unique can it win the market.Through the analysis of Minshuku cases,it is worth learning and using for reference that how the architects control the project and how they deal with it.
