Mobile Office Assistant For SG-JSEPRI Based On WeChat Mini Program

With the vigorous development of computer technology and network communi-cation technology,office assistant tools based on Office Automation(OA)technologies have been widely used in enterprises and institutions to achieve the cost-reduction and the efficiency-improvement.As one of the main research agencies of the State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co.Ltd,Jiangsu Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid(SG-JSEPRI)holds a large number of employees,performs intensive research and development tasks related to electric power,and handles heavy daily office work.At present,the State Grid corporation is able to manage key production factors such as manpower,finance,projects,materials and equipment by using an OA system based on the SAP ERP.However,this OA system still has some limitations as follows:(1)this system is only accessible through the restricted local networks,which confines the working places of employees.(2)his system needs to be installed on the local computers,and does not support the access through web browsers or personal mobile devices.The way of accessing the OA system is not flexible enough.(3)The function-alities provided by the system cannot meet all the needs from the daily work of the SG-JSEPRI.For example,the management of business trips and meetings still relies on paper documents for applications and reports,which brings a lot of inconvenience to the processing of these affairs.To address the discussed issues,our solutions are as follows:(1)we develop an office assistant system to implement the functionalities that are in urgent demand,but not supported by the OA system currently used in the SG-JSEPRI;(2)the system needs to have a high-quality insurance mechanism of information security;(3)to meet the requirements of the mobile office,the system should allow users to access through the external network by using their personal mobile devices.According to the above ideas,we propose a mobile office assistant for SG-JSEPRI based on WeChat mini program and its background management system.The specific work of this thesis is as follows:1.We implemented the user authentication mechanism.Based on a series of account-security-protection measures provided by WeChat,we added the functionalities of face recognition and employee information binding to our WeChat mini pro-gram to further strengthen the security authentication mechanism.2.We implemented the statistical query and visualization functionality.Managers can use this mini program to query and count the office data of the SG-JSEPRI.The data will be displayed visually in the form of chart,and support to be ex-ported.3.We developed a mobile office assistant based on mini program.Employees can use the mini program through personal WeChat anytime and anywhere to do their work,without downloading and installing software.4.We developed background management system of the mobile office assistant.System administrator can use the system to manage data and do batch operations on data.The mini program has been put into operation on August 28th,2018.Up to now,more than 200 employees of the SG-JSEPRI are using the mini program.They have submitted more than5,500 personal travel records.More than300 meeting records are created by different departments of SG-JSEPRI.It has been demonstrated that our mobile office assistant can simplify the business process and support the better man-agement of each department on its daily work,thus improving the office efficiency and promoting the development of office automation in SG-JSEPRI.
