Vigorously developing public transport is an important measure to ease urban traffic congestion and achieve green and low-carbon travel.However,with the accelerating process of urbanization in our country,the urban sprawl phenomenon has become more widespread.The demand density of public transportation in the vast outskirts is relatively low and scattered.If we want to reach the level of public transport services in the urban center area through regular buses,it will inevitably cause a waste of public transport capacity and the operating income of public transportation companies will decline.The development of flex-route transit system to provide corresponding bus services based on passenger travel needs can provide passengers with highquality bus travel services while saving bus operating costs.It is an effective means to solve the problem of low-density bus travel.This paper focuses on the research of the vehicle scheduling of flex-route transit system.Firstly,it defines flex-route transit system,expounds the design method of key parameters for the layout of public transport routes,and designs a questionnaire to survey residents' willingness to use the system.According to the spatial and temporal characteristics of domestic residents' travel,this paper analysis the vehicle operating characteristics and the scope of application of the system.Then,this paper designs the variable-line bus dispatching system and describes the operation organization process in the dispatch center mode and the motorcade self-organizing mode.Then,the relaxation time calculation method is deduced.The structural functions of the scheduling system are designed based on the analysis of the demand of the scheduling system by bus companies and public transport operators.For the problem of constant speed and uniform density in the current state of flex-route transit system simulation studies,this paper establishes a dynamic speed control scheduling model and a dynamic station scheduling model.The dynamic speed control scheduling model adopts a bi-level simulated annealing algorithm in the first stage to solve the problem of bus line planning and vehicle speed control for passengers who book passengers in advance.In the second stage,the insertion algorithm is used to solve the real-time demand response and path update problems.Through computer simulation,the superiority of the algorithm is verified and the applicable density of the system is obtained.The dynamic station scheduling model is used to reduce the number of line excursions and improve the system service capability by means of the passenger clustering algorithm.The simulation results show that this method can improve the capability of bus service.To deal with the vehicle scheduling problem of flex-route transit,this paper researches the vehicle scheduling algorithm,and proposes a speed control method and a dynamic station setting method.The research provides a theoretical reference for bus companies operating flex-route transit system and has certain practical significance.At the same time,the design of the bus dispatching system and the analysis of its operation process play a role in promoting the popularization and application of the flex-route transit system.
