As the economy is developing rapidly and the city size expanding continuously,the development of public transport system is comparatively slow.The imbalance between supply and demand of public transport is appearing increasingly.Conventional public transit system is not able to satisfy the increasingly diverse travel demand of residents.The deficiency of public transport system results in the dependency of private car,which intensifies urban traffic congestion and results in vicious spiral of traffic problems.As one kind of new public transport services mode,flex-route transit has high efficiency and low cost,which is like conventional public transit.It is also flexible and convenient,which is like demand responsive transit system.Flex-route transit supplements the service of conventional public transit,satisfies the diverse travel demand of residents,and improves the quality of public transit,which has great potential in urban public transit in the future.But the research of flex-route transit is rare in china.Therefore,in this paper,the research point is the operation and scheduling model of flex-route transit,which aims to improve the bus service level,reduce operating costs,and provide theoretical research foundation for the practical application of flex-route transit.First of all,based on the service characteristics and key parameters of flex-route transit,this paper compares and analyzes the characteristics of flex-route transit with conventional public transit,clears the function orientation,and then discusses the scheduling principle,scheduling form and scheduling type of flex-route transit.Secondly,based on the influence factors of public transit timetable compilation,this paper studies the slack time setting of flex-route transit.Considering the vehicle running total cycle time up and down,aiming to minimize the operating costs and passenger costs,this paper establishes departure interval model and calculate the optimal departure intervals,analyzes the impact on departure interval of service area width and density of passenger demand.Thirdly,on the basis of single vehicle scheduling model,this paper enacts operation rules of flex-route transit.Aiming to minimize the sum of waiting time cost,travel time cost and enterprise operating costs,this paper establishes multiple-vehicle scheduling model and designs a arithmetic which mixes genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm to solve the model.Finally,this paper introduces the key technology of intelligent scheduling system,studies the structure and function of the three subsystems——operation center system,passenger system and vehicle running system,analyses the working process and characteristics of intelligent scheduling system,which provides new thought for building intelligent scheduling system.Referring to actual vehicle tracks,this paper builds simulation environment of flex-route transit through MATLAB.The experimental results show that under the condition of a certain density,flex-route transit multiple-vehicle scheduling model performs better than single vehicle and conventional public transit,which verifies the feasibility of multiple-vehicle scheduling model.
