The Wuxi Centre Park Landscape Footbridge locates inside the center park of east Wuxi Yingyue Lake,which connects the manmade island and local business area.The bridge structure is a 3D two-plane cable-stayed bridge with three spans,which is also a combination of cable-stayed bridge and rigid structure.The span arrangement is 72+32+72m.Several issues need to be solved during the construction of this bridge.(1)The designs of the girder,pylon,stay cables,construction for the Wuxi Centre Park Landscape Footbridge are firstly introduced.(2)The analysis for the mechinical performances of the girder,pylon,stay cables are conducted and the safety of the structure is assessed.(3)Since the Wuxi Centre Park Landscape Footbridge is a 3D two-plane cable-stayed bridge with three spans,the mechanical performances during the construction are studied and traced.(4)The dynamical performance and vibration confort are also analyzed and assessed.Based on the study above,the mechinical performances of the Wuxi Centre Park Landscape Footbridge during the construction can be obtained including the static and dynamic viewpoints.The reasonability of the construction and the vibration confort dureing the service stage can also be verified.
