The design of cable-stayed bridge often begins from confirming the complete bridge state, to confirming construction state with forwards iterative method or forwards-backwards iterative method based the confirmed complete bridge state, last to achieving the confirmed beforehand complete state by construction process control. So confirming rationally cable-stayed bridge complete state becomes the povotal problem to solve firstly in design. Only when cable-stayed bridge rational complete bridge state has been confirmed, other cable-stayed bridge design and calculation has actual significance.About how to confirm complete bridge state of prestressing force concrete (abbr. PC) cable-stayed bridge, engineers have found many methods by summing up, and these methods have respective characters and conditions. Baseing on in-depth study in several methods and making use of mathematic optimization theory, this paper brings forward creatively and practices the multi-goal and multi-constrainer cable tension optimization theory which adopts synthetically the minimal bend energy method, stress balance method and minimal cable amount method.About how to confirm cables first tension in cable-stayed bridge construction process, this paper brings forward creatively and practices the method which confirms cables first tension in construction process only by once optimization calculation, it is out of other scholar's thought and weakens the strict constrainers from the rational complete bridge state. This method can confirm rational complete bridge state and perfect construction states at one time, reduces much iterative and trial calculation process, has some applied foreground.
