Research And Implementation Of Group Movement Simulation Technology In Urban Traffic Scene

In recent years,with the rapid development of Virtual Reality technology,the group motion simulation,which has been widely used in the urban traffic planning,special effect,online games and other fields,has gradually become a research hotspot.As an important part in the urban traffic scene,the group motion simulation is of great significance to the construction of urban road traffic network,the test of the actual road traffic capacity,as well as the evacuation of personnel and the planning of fire rescue path in emergencies.Based on the practical application,this paper studies the group motion simulation technology such as vehicles and pedestrians in urban traffic scenes.The contribution of this paper is as follows:(1)Construction of urban traffic network: according to the road structures and traffic rules in the urban traffic scene,an urban traffic network model is proposed.The model adopts the 2D model as the road network structure and defines a traffic rule expression method based on the linear reference method.The road slices in the model are the basic units,which relate different rule information to each part of the linear element.(2)Group motion simulation: according to the characteristics of the traffic rules in the urban traffic scene,this paper extends the ViCrowd model,that puts forward the individual behavior model with four states which are obeying rules,chasing,gathering and separation,and formalizes the individual motion based on the artificial potential field method.Based on above,the group motion model of pedestrians in urban traffic scene is established by combining the multi-layer intelligent subjects of perception,decision-making and movement.An improved micro vehicle following model is proposed at same time,which simulates the car following and lane changing in the urban traffic scene with a small calculation.(3)The design and implementation of group motion simulation system in urban traffic scene: the road network model expression,crowd motion simulation and vehicle motion simulation module in urban traffic scene are designed,and OpenGL graphics library and Qt class library are used to develop the system.The experiment results show that the expression model of the traffic network,the method of crowd motion and the method of vehicle movement could support the simulation of the group movement in the urban traffic scene effectively.
