With the fast development of economy and urbanization,haze and other environmental issues have seriously affected the quality of the residents' life,and become the focus of the government and drawn the public's attention.The development of clean energy is one of the effective ways to alleviate related phenomena.Compared with the thermal power,the development of clean energy is restricted by cost to a greater extent currently.It is the only way to fundamentally solve the long-term development problem to reduce the cost of clean energy generation and improve the residents' awareness and willingness to pay.Therefore,it is of great significance to effectively measure the residents' willingness to pay for clean energy,which can promote the scientific formulation of clean energy subsidy policy and the orderly implementation of the retail-side reforms.In this thesis,we investigate Tianjin's residents' willingness to pay for clean energy by using the theoretical framework of contingent valuation and analyze whether people have the willingness and the value to pay by Logit model and multiple linear regressions.Then,we use the double-bounded dichotomous choice to do another similar survey,and the maximum likelihood estimation function model is constructed to calculate the willingness to pay and identify the influencing factors.The results of the two ways are comprehensively analyzed to get a reasonable WTP estimation.In the PC survey,according to a sample of 407 respondents,67.3% residents have positive WTP for clean energy and the average WTP is approximately 32.63 yuan/month.The factors affecting the WTP mainly include environment,belief,income,disease and age.The first four factors often have positive influences on WTP while the influence of the last one is negative.The male tends to have a higher WTP than the female.The average increase of electricity price is 10.43%,which is mainly influenced by family income and number of members.The average WTP of 459 respondents surveyed by DBDC questionnaire is 122.99 yuan/month,which is mainly influenced by bid,environment,knowledge of clean energy,number of family members and family income.
