The research in this paper is based on the project named "Integrated Design and Airworthiness Technology of Civil Aircraft Systems".Digital design methods oriented to virtual prototype is used to design Virtual Prototype of Environmental Control System(ECS)which is one of the safety-critical systems of civil aircraft.The purpose of research is to solve the shortcoming of the traditional design method,improve the design efficiency and quality of ECS,reduce the development cycle and cost.In this regard,the research of this paper includes the following:First of all,the research background and significance are briefly introduced.The related technology of digital design and the present research status at home and abroad are also introduced in this paper.Secondly,the scheme of ECS digital design is researched.The object properties of ECS is researched,including functional requirements,composition and working principles of ECS.In order to make up for defects of the traditional design method,the concept of digital design and digital design idea of ECS is proposed based on traditional design method.And based on the proposed idea,the modeling language,design platform and design work flow are researched in detail.Thirdly,virtual prototype of ECS is designed.Specification and diagrams of SysML,which is the main modeling language of ECS digital design,are researched in detail.The digital models of ECS which described the function,behavior,structure and data interactive relationship,are designed on Rhapsody software module of ECS digital design platform,including three phases: requirements analysis,functional analysis and design synthesis.And logic error can be eliminated in top level by staged test of model.Fourthly,Simulink models are integrated to virtual prototype of ECS.Control system models are designed on Simulink software module of ECS digital design platform,which include temperature control system model and pressurization control system model of cabin.The collaborative simulation principle between SysML models and Simulink models is researched.And in order to make up the complete virtual prototype of ECS,Simulink models are integrated into SysML models by use of software interface between Rhapsody and Simulink.Fifthly,verification of ECS digital design.Visualization simulation interface is designed based on digital process models of ECS virtual prototype.Then function,behavior and performance of ECS virtual prototype are verified whether satisfy design requirements.After verification,executable codeof ECS is generated by use of Rhapsody Software.
