The broad application of the stratospheric platform has attracted more and more attention from the world.When the airship stays in the stratospheric space for a long time,it will it will undergo the day and night change repeatedly.When the temperature rises in the daytime,a high altitude compressor can be used to compress the appropriate amount of helium into the overpressure helium bag,so as to adjust the pressure difference between inside and outside the capsule.The design technology of helium compressor is one of the key technologies to realize the long term stay of airship in the stratosphere.In this paper,the design and performance of the helium compressor are studied based on the design parameters and design indexes.First,the main classification of the compressor and the selection of the design scheme are introduced.By compiling the C++ program,the thermodynamic calculation of the compressor is carried out.Finally,the design of a double stage centrifugal compressor is adopted.According to the thermodynamic calculation,the aerodynamic parameters and structural parameters of each section of the compressor are obtained.The blade modeling is carried out by BladeGen software,and the 3D modeling of each component is completed by UG.As the main component of the compressor,it is very important to analyze the flow characteristics and structural strength of the impeller.In this paper,the numerical simulation of the impeller is carried out by ANSYS-CFX.The results show that its flow field and pressure field distribution are reasonable and meet the requirements.The static analysis and dynamic modal analysis of impeller are carried out by Static Structural and Modal module in Workbench.The results show that the structural strength of impeller meets the requirements.
