Research On Airworthiness Certification Method For Aircraft Takeoff And Landing Performance On Contaminated Runways

With the continuous development of air transport industry,the operational safety of civil transport aircrafts on contaminated runways has become increasingly prominent.The research on the takeoff and landing performance on contaminated runways has gradually become an important issue in the process of initial airworthiness design and certification.Meanwhile,the continuous development of China-made large aircraft also raises urgent needs for the research on airworthiness certification of performance on contaminated runway.For large passenger aircraft,based on the operational characteristics of the contaminated runway,this paper focus on the certification requirements,criteria analysis and certification methods for the aircraft performance on contaminated runway.By analyzing and comparing the airworthiness regulations and guidance materials about contaminated runway from domestic and international airworthiness management system,the main scope and content points of airworthiness certification are defined,and afterwards some certification requirements are put forward from aspects of friction coefficient,tyre spray,takeoff performance and landing performance.To analyze the certification requirements,this paper has brought forward a determination method of the friction coefficient by establishing an evaluation system of contaminated runway surface condition.At the same time,a calculation method of tyre spray frictional resistance and engine spray patterns,as well as the safety analysis of some related system equipments are put forward through analyzing the spray profile and the digital prototype model.By analyzing the takeoff and landing process and the operating conditions of contaminated runway,a general calculation procedure and corresponding calculation method is proposed.Based on the proposed certification requirements and criterion analysis/verification method,the certification process and plan for aircraft performance on contaminated runway are drawn up,as well as the certification basis,the compliance verification method and the compliance verification criteria are proposed.
