The switched reluctance motor(SRM)has been widely used in many fields because of it has simple structure,low cost,high starting torque,low starting current and high efficiency.However,due to the stepping principle of the motor,the output torque has a large torque ripple,which limits its application field.In this paper,the theoretical analysis and simulation modeling of the torque pulsation of SRM are carried out.The main research work of this paper includes:(1)The basic principle,mathematical equation,mechanical characteristics and basic control strategy of switched reluctance motor are systematically expounded.Based on the above principle,this paper presents the concept of a combined switched reluctance motor: the use of multiple SRM in accordance with the rotor magnetic pole offset in a certain way to coaxial co-operation,so that the output torque waveform in time to form a complementary to reduce the motor torque pulsation.And the output torque is complementary to each other in time,and a control strategy based on signal delay is proposed to control the combined switched reluctance motor.(2)According to the design specifications of the switched reluctance motor,the electromagnetic parameters and performance parameters are selected to calculate the main structural parameters of the combined SRM motor unit,and then the results are imported into the finite element simulation software to model the prototype.Through the finite element analysis,the static characteristics of the motor and the flux linkage characteristic curve are obtained.(3)The control system structure of the combined switched reluctance motor is designed.The design of the conduction angle calculation and the signal delay are carried out.The opening angle and the turn-off angle of the switched reluctance motor are optimized by the fuzzy control method.The delay time of the delay link is calculated according to the principle of complementary output torque.In the Simulink environment to build a simulation system,the combined switched reluctance motor simulation experiments,and through the ordinary switched reluctance motor for comparison experiments.The experimental results show that the torque ripple of the combined switched reluctance motor is suppressed.
