With the development of economy,the population of the aged and the disabled is also improving.Generally it has became a social problem.As an auxiliary stool,the wheelchairs have played an important role in the aspect of helping the aged and the disabled enhancing the quality of their life.In base of this present situation,as the object to the aged and the disabled,this paper designed a multi-functional wheelchair that can change the appearance between sitting and lying with fully considering the Ergonomics.The main researches are:(1)Read the literatures with the relevant of wheelchair,investigated and analyzed the wheelchair market.Combined with the real requirements of users,confirmed the three main functions of this wheelchair: variable appearance,lifetable position and assisting function.Proposed three plans of the mechanism of the variable appearance.After considering the advancements and dis-advancements of every plan,finally found out the best one.(2)Analyzed the plan that has been ascertained.Splinted the plan to drive part and two transmission parts.And built the axis for every part.Built mathematic mode by using the closed vector method.Proposed the matrix equation of the back and the leg's angular velocity and angular acceleration that is related to the length of driver.Then conducted the analysis of kinematics by using MATLAB,to propose the curves,proved the smooth of the whole movement.(3)According to china's standard rules related to the disabled and the aged and statistical parameters of the adults,referring the ergonomics and biomechanics,ensured the shapes and sizes of every parts.In the base of the idea of bottom-to-up design,by using 3ds max mode SolidWorks,built the virtue prototype of the wheelchair.After the step of solid modeling,virtual assembly,completed the virtual mode of the whole wheelchair.Conducting the interference checking,ensured the rationality of design.(4)After the seat was risen to the highest position,by analyzing the force of seat and fluctuation,found out the force put on frame.Conducting the motion simulation of the frame by using the stress analysis mode SolidWorks Simulation.In the position of lying,as the object of the rod,conducted the same analysis.By conducting the finite element analysis,guaranteed that the parameters of mechanics meet the requirement of utilization.This multi-functional wheelchair designed can achieve multiple functions.After fully considering the ergonomics aspects,ensured the comfort.Supported the follow-up works of the wheelchairs' commoditization.
