As an important part of the engine intake system,the noise control level has a significant impact on passengers.Intake system noise mainly refers to the noise at the inlet,it has a great impact on the car because of close to the car cockpit.It is important for the vehicle noise control that how to effectively control the intake noise.It is commonly used in engineering to increase the intake system of the original silencer or change the structure of the intake system intake system to optimize and control noise.This paper was based on a test production car as the research object,through the test analysis,numerical simulation and theoretical calculation method,aimed at putting forward optimization improvement plan for the case that the engine intake noise peak was greater than the set target value and then test for verification,finally meet air intake noise design requirements.Specific points in the following aspects:1.Intake Noise Testing and Analysis.First,the engine intake noise characteristics and the mechanism were introduced in this part,describing that the order analysis technology was applied to the engine intake system noise analysis and frequency recognition.LMS.test.lab test software was used for engine intake system test,using order analysis techniques to identify the higher frequency band corresponding to the peak speed,analyzing the order total contribution and avoiding frequency analysis for the major band.2.Simulation of Intake System Based on Digital LMS virtual.lab.Virtual simulation of air intake system was studied to find main cause of the peak frequency: analysis was based on resonance theory to verify the fluid-structure coupling theory of the engine air intake system;It was based on a higher peak speed corresponding to the frequency to design muffler elements,including the type,size,and installation location of the element,The simulation software LMS virtual lab was used for predicting transmission loss before and after the optimization to ensure maximum transmission loss of the frequency was the natural frequency of the silencing element.3.Intake Noise Optimization Experiment.The simulation design silencing component would be manufactured and installed into the engine air intake system.Then Keep the same test conditions of the optimized air intake system for experimental verification.Results showed that the higher peak speed corresponding to the frequency decreases by adding noise elimination and meets the design requirements of the target.
