The two-lane highway is the main transportation corridor in China,and the mileage and proportion of two lane highway in mountain area are large.But due to terrain and landscape constraints,the accidents happen frequently in work area,and affect the transport efficiency seriously.Based on speed consistency,psychology and physiology theory,this paper studied the control length,space,the night sight space and the security technology of the work area.Qualitative and quantitative analysis were carried on the drivers,vehicles,roads and environmental factors that affect the safety of the two-lane highway work area in mountainous areas.The relationship between the accident and the influencing factors was analyzed by fuzzy clustering method,and it is concluded that the main factors influencing the traffic safety of the two-lane highway work area in the mountain are the line of sight,the night environment and the operation area.The traffic characteristics and physiological characteristics of the two-lane highway work area were analyzed based on a large amount of experimental data,and the operating area section of the driver's gaze time threshold was obtained.The recommended value of the length of each control section in the work area was obtained by constructing the response model of the each control section length,the driver's psychological and physiology,and vehicle velocity gradient in the work area.Based on the analysis of the length of adjacent work area,the minimum spacing value of adjacent operating area was determined by calculation and VISSIM simulation.The "black hole effect" mechanism of the warning zone and the upstream transition zone in the night accident multiple segments was analyzed by analyzing the causes of nighttime and daytime accidents and combined with the visual characteristics of the driver,and the minimum safe travel distance at night was calculated based on the "black hole effect".In view of the medium and long repair road section,the concept of the guidance area was proposed through investigation.According to the logistic model of the disaggregate model,the survey data was analyzed,the minimum closed area length of the guidance area was obtained,and the temporary harbor type parking spaces was put forward in the work area.The application of the results provides a theoretical basis for the safe construction and operation management of mountainous two lane highway work area,the control technology and methods have important significance to improve the transportation safety and efficiency.The research process has been funded by local standard revision project plan from Hebei Provincial Bureau of quality and technical supervision.
