As we all know,the research on recycling and utilization of asphalt mixture is directly related to environment protection and economic sustainable development,which has become the focus of road researchers in recent years.However,the crucial issues affecting the utilization ratio of RAP is the regeneration effect of aged asphalt.In addition,the regeneration effect of asphalt is directly affected by the diffusion property of rejuvenator.Consequently,the diffusion of rejuvenator in aged asphalt have become the focus of the research.With the starting point of raging and regeneration mechanism of asphalt,.Combined Fick's law with the theory of composite materials and the help of MATLAB software,the method of solving the diffusion coefficient is obtained.Based on the diffusion model,the experiment scheme was designed to explore the factors affecting the diffusion and permeation of the rejuvenator.We characterize the diffusion of rejuvenator with the penetration and viscosity of recycled asphalt and the calculated diffusion coefficient.Analyze the influence of various factors including time,temperature,location,and the viscosity of the rejuvenator on the degree of diffusion by changing the experimental conditions.Then give some advices for mixing process..At last,the relationship between the performance of the regenerative agent and the performance of the recycled mixture was studied.The Marshall mix design method was adopted to study the high-temperature performance,low-temperature limit strain,and water stability of recycled asphalt mixture.In addition,compares the performance of different mixture according to the performance of the common mixture.The study indicates that the regeneration agent in the aging asphalt can be described by Fick diffusion law.The longer time,higher temperature,closer to the initial interface,the lower the viscosity of the regeneration agent is conducive to the diffusion process;Comparing different recycled mixtures that as the diffusion capacity increases,the low-temperature limit strain and water stability have improved,but the high-temperature performance has a decrease.
