Localized Chinese Modern Architecture,it is not only the translation and reappearance of Chinese traditional official architecture and domestic Architecture to Chinese modern architecture,but also during the process of transplantation,dissemination and transformation of modern architecture in China,since it was being in Chinese realistic conditions,presenting a modern way,method and result.And the term “Localization”,it is not only derived from the objective material environment conditions,but also related to the knowledge system construction of its localized architecture.Previous studies have paid much more attention to the architectural styles,however,there is still improvement in the research of the knowledge system.The core issue of this article is to explore the role and significance of knowledge system construction with terminology,curriculum and atlas in solving the key technical problems of Localized Chinese Modern Architecture.In specific,During the specific historical period in the 1910' s to 1950' s,Using the methods of document retrieval and file verification,searching the efforts made by architectural scholars on the collation and standardization of ancient and modern architectural terminology.In the core curriculum of "Chinese building construction",the contents and methods of the curriculum in different periods and the connections and differences with the " western building construction" courses.Under the scientific concept of " Cartography",the exploration direction and significance of Liang Sicheng and Liu Zhiping,Liu Dunzhen and Chen Conzhou,Zhao Zhengzhi and Chen Wenlan's three atlas.Researching the relationship between problems and knowledge system construction from terms,curriculum and atlas.
