In recent years,China's urban rail transit is booming.By the end of 2016,124 urban rail transit lines have been running in 30 cities in the Mainland of China. The city began to build an integrated transportation system with rail transit as its backbone.Due to many factors such as engineering design and cost-effectiveness,rail transit is less accessible.A good rail transit access-egress will solve this problem, and make rail transit more efficient and attractive.Bicycle-sharing system has begun to develop rapidly since 2016,which provides a new option for the choice of urban rail transit station's access-egress modes. This thesis studies on the choice of urban rail transit station's access-egress modes under the above background.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of the access-egress modes choice behavior of urban rail transit station by collecting relevant research literature and conducting field investigations. In this part, this thesis mainly clarifies the access-egress modes choice behavior of urban rail transit, summarizes the characteristics of nine rail transit access-egress modes, and probes into the main influencing factors. The influencing factors are divided into characteristics of travelers, travel, access modes, and rail transit sites.Based on the previous theoretical research results, the survey questionnaire is designed. The questionnaire includes two parts: personal information and travel information.Using the Revealed Preference(RP)survey method, made the survey plan. Then, the variables used in the model are sorted out.According to the survey in Nanjing, statistics are made on the proportions of each mode and service distances, trip length, the distribution of costs, and the distribution of traveler personal attribute information.Using the modeling theory, this thesis constructs the Nested Logit(NL)models of rail transit's access-egress modes choice.Based on the concept of green travel, the modes involved in the study are divided into two subsets to build models.Based on the field investigations in Nanjing,a case study is carried out.STATA software is used to calibrate the model parameters and validate model. The trend of selection of green access-egress mode is discussed through regression analysis of the model.Subsequently,on the basis of considering the panel data, the Mixed Logit(ML)model for rail transit access-egress modes choice is built to analyse characteristics of the choice of urban rail transit station's access-egress modes.Based on the field investigations in Nanjing,a case study is carried out.STATA software is used to calibrate the model parameters and validate model. In the case study,it is found that the ML model is superior to the NL model statistically sense.Based on the results of parameter calibration of the ML model, various influencing factors are analyzed, and the characteristics of rail transit access-egress modes choice are explored. At the same time, the thesis discusses the characteristics of bicycle-sharing system. Finally, according to the results of the model analysis and the discussion of the influence factors, this thesis discusses and puts forwardthe development orientation of the access-egress modes choice of urban rail transit station from four aspects of land planning layout, economic control, service promotion and traffic propaganda guide.
