| With the continuous development of our social economy and the increase of vehicle inventory and the drivers,road traffic accidents have been climbing for years.The frequent traffic accidents not only threaten the safety of people’s life and property,but also affect the development of national economy,the construction of harmonious society and social stability.As the main competent functional department of dealing with road traffic accidents,traffic management department has accumulated lots of data about traffic accidents during the long-term handling of traffic accidents.In order to better analyze the reasons and the hidden rules of traffic accidents,provide valuable references for the decision-makers of traffic management department and prevent the occurrence of road traffic accidents as well as protect the safety of people’s life and property,how to dig out knowledge information with practicable value from the data of numerous road traffic accidents has become an important issue for both traffic management department and traffic accident researchers.This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of road traffic safety in China,compares the development conditions of the data analysis of traffic accidents at home and abroad and proposes the significance of applying data mining technique to the analysis of road traffic accidents.Secondly,the background,concepts,features and procedures of data mining are introduced;the functions of data mining are analyzed one by one and the concepts and connotations of Apriori algorithm and association rules are also explained.In the meantime,a brief introduction to data pre-processing and data warehouse is presented.Thirdly,the features of road traffic accident data are described and the definition of road traffic accident is illustrated from the perspective of law.Besides,a comprehensive objective analysis of the reasons for road traffic accidents is made.Moreover,the currentsituations of traffic management department’s investigation for road traffic accident data and data collection are discussed.Then,the data model for the data warehouse of road traffic accident is proposed and SQL language is used to describe data model and point out the multi-dimensional improved Apriori algorithm for road traffic accident data.In the end,a road traffic accident analysis system with multi-dimensional Apriori algorithm as its core is designed and the analysis of the data of traffic accidents is made so as to obtain several valuable association rules.Based on the above,the thesis puts forward the corresponding measures and suggestions. |
