Application Of Key Chain In The Project Schedule Management For Electric Water Heater

The project process management is the critical content of project management study.The effective methods of project process can make the projects finished on time.Meanwhile,it is also critical for the enterprises' existence and development.With the development of the project process management theory,the Gantt Chart,Critical Path Method and Program Evaluation Plan are applied extensively in the project management.The Gantt Chart is used as the project process managing method in the water heater R&D projects,but it often ends up with the delay of the projects and can't finish projects on time,because of the project resource conflicts,the delay of the critical procedure,etc.Thus,it causes some certain defects in the project process management.The Critical Chain Method is the Theory of Constraint applied in the project process management.On the base of comprehensinvely eliminating the constraint of resource,it reduces the procedure safety time by half and sets the reduced safety time as the buffer.It enables the projects to be finished on time,for the buffer can reduce the risks caused by uncertainties.Thus,it is necessary to study the application of Critical Chain Method in project process management of water heater.Based on the documents of project schedule management and according to the problems existing in process management of water heater R&D projects,Firstly,the traditional critical chain technology is applied in the progress management of the electric water heater R & D project and the application problem is put forward.Secondly,the application of the traditional critical chain technology is optimized and demonstrated.Finally,the safeguard measures are put forward for the possible resistance in the implementation,to achieve the successful application Critical Chain Method in process management of water heater R&D project and improve the level of project process management.
